We loved the great location of this hotel, as it was right in the center of everything. It was quiet and easy to walk to all the attractions in this city. We also appreciated the private outdoor space, although it could have been more spruced up. The hotel was clean and beautifully presented, with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to find basic foodstuffs and cleaning supplies provided, as well as a thoughtful touch of milk in the fridge.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The Cottage at Bagdale Hall in Whitby was a fantastic stay for us. As someone with physical handicaps, I really appreciated the clean and comfortable facilities. the good location and provided parking were a real advantage. It was also a nice touch to have fresh milk and tea making facilities ready for us upon arrival. And to top it off, the cozy Bagdale Hall was nearby, perfect for a nightcap.
Felt right at home, no reason to complain.

Mind-blowing location in the heart of the city with the incredible perk of free parking. The space was exactly like the jaw-dropping photos, with the bonus of a convenient downstairs cloakroom. We were pleasantly surprised to find basic foodstuffs provided, along with cleaning supplies. The house was impressively equipped with top-of-the-line white goods and showers, and the en suite bedroom mattress was superb. We felt like VIPs with hotel-quality linen and towels, and the smart TV came in handy when the signal was occasionally interrupted. The private outdoor space, although small and basic, could have been spruced up a bit. However, the cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the necessary amenities, especially the extremely well-equipped kitchen. The parking space was ideal and accommodated our larger vehicle with ease. Just a slight challenge finding the location, but once we spotted the black gates on the right-hand side after driving past the hotel, we were ecstatic to have discovered this hidden gem. The stay was truly remarkable, offering the perfect combination of comfort and convenience. The only regret is not being able to express our jaw-dropping happiness with the word "wow"!

I had a great stay at The Cottage at Bagdale Hall. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily walk to everything I wanted to see and do in the area. The cottage was also very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable during my stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like basic foodstuffs and cleaning supplies provided. The parking space was also a bonus, and I had no trouble fitting my car in the designated spot.
There were a few small inconveniences during my stay. there were only four dining chairs at the table when I had booked for five people, so we had to make do with using an outside chair from the courtyard.

The central location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the area. The private courtyard was a lovely bonus, especially on warm evenings. The property was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed for a great holiday. The parking space was also a convenient feature.
One minor drawback was the lack of seating in the living area and at the dining table. As a party of five adults, we could have used an additional seat in both areas.
